Now Accepting Applications for Associate Members

The Calvert County Democratic Central Committee announces its immediate solicitation of candidates to add three associate members to the committee. We are seeking one male or non-binary applicant, and two female or non-binary applicants.

Candidates must be registered Democrat and reside in Calvert County. If you have any questions about the role of the Democratic Central Committee and what it means to serve as an associate member, please see our Frequently Asked Questions or reach out at info@calvertdemocrats.com.

The deadline to apply is the end of the day on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Candidates will be required to be interviewed at a public meeting of the Calvert County Democratic Central Committee. The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 7:00 pm at the new Calvert County Democratic Party Office located at 5351 Ketch Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678. Candidates will be called in alphabetical order and provided two (2) minutes to speak. Once the interviews have been completed, the Committee will enter into a closed session. Upon the conclusion of the closed session, a public vote will be held. The candidate receiving a majority of the votes will be appointed to fill the vacancy.
